About us...
The company Directors, both postgraduates in the Biosciences, have over 20 years’ experience in the scientific, regulatory, educational and research-based environments.
They have a shared passion for learning, continual skills development and innovation. This set of values led them to set up GORSE services, a business development consultancy, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park in 2015.
Their areas of expertise lie in Agri-food, Environment & Health and education. They are highly experienced professionals in project management and delivery, technical writing and knowledge transfer, training, mentoring and people development.
John Hutchins
John completed a degree in Microbiology (Bristol University) and a PhD in plant pathology and crop protection (Imperial College, London) before joining NIAB, an agricultural crop science research organisation where he took a variety of different roles.
Emma Green
Emma has a degree in Biology (University of Southampton) and a PhD in the environmental sciences and pesticide regulation (Imperial College, London). She started her career as a regulatory scientist at the Department of Environment.
