John Hutchins

John completed a degree in Microbiology (Bristol University) and a PhD in plant pathology and crop protection (Imperial College, London) before joining NIAB, an agricultural crop science research organisation where he took a variety of different roles.

John’s first position was as the Head of a commercial seed diagnostics laboratory before progressing onto commercial consultancy, senior management, property, land & farm management, marketing and business development roles. For over 5 years he was NIAB’s Director of Operations.
